you kiddin? that series has as much right to call itself an rpg as halo does. it's nothing but strategy battles and blah blah blah between battles. it's fun though, dont get me wrong, but labeling it rpg is seriously wrong. it's basically shining force without the town exploring.

Yeah... it's a strategy RPG in that the characters level up and such. Meh. Either way, FE is the best turn based tactical system ever.

Be that as it may, its still something to justify dusting off the Gamecube. This one does seem to have some sort of story anyway (judging from screenshots at least).

which baldurs gates, the console or pc one? either way yeah, but the pc one i just kinda got sick of. i was maybe 1/2 way through and still only on level 5.

fire emblem always had a story, because theres that much talking between battle. hell sometimes even in the middle of battle. you can enter some buildings and possibly recruit while you're at it, or buy new weapons or get advice from whoevers there. just depends on whos in the building you enter. but all that takes place in the midst of battle.
